The new GRID Technology increases the surface area of plates in water ionizers.

GRID technology refers to the plates in a water ionizer. GRID plates have a grid-like pattern which enables water to flow through the plates, not just along it. GRID plates are made of drop-forged titanium, they are the strongest and most durable water ionizer plates in the world.

GRID plates increase the pH and antioxidant ORP levels a water ionizer can produce. They do this because the water is in contact with the plates for a longer period of time than it is on flat plates. The more the water passes in and out of the Titanium grid system (GRID), the greater the electrical charge to the water (especially when powered by the newer SMPS power systems) – the higher the pH (potential of Hydrogen) and the ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) of the drinking water. GRID plates boost the pH and ORP of the water by 10% to 15%.

Are GRID plates like MESH plates?

They look similar, but GRID plates are much stronger. MESH plates are stamped out of titanium, GRID plates are drop-forged out of titanium. Forging is an

industrial process used to make tools and other metal parts stronger and more durable. LIFE Ionizers originally developed GRID plates for use in industrial

water ionizers that produce hundreds of gallons of alkaline water per hour. A recent manufacturing breakthrough has enabled us to offer them in home water

ionizers. It is a well established fact in the water ionizer industry that GRID plates are the toughest plates you can get in a water ionizer.
