Would you buy a $4000 appliance that can destroy itself? What if that appliance could destroy itself and the damage wasn’t covered by your warranty? This shocking surprise is exactly what awaits you if you buy a Kangen Water® machine. According to the Enagic Kangen® website, damage caused by Enagic’s electrolysis enhancer is not covered by the warranty. If the chemical enhancer destroys your machine, it costs $800 to fix it. Enagic will cover the damage under your warranty, but it will cost you an extra $400. For the extra $400, only one instance of electrolysis enhancer damage will be covered. If you want subsequent damage covered- that’s an extra $400, which again is only for one instance of chemical enhancer damage.
What is Kangen water’s® Electrolysis Enhancer®?
Kangen’s® Electrolysis Enhancer is salt water. It is sold by Enagic for $18.00 which gets you six bottles. It probably costs Enagic a few pennies per bottle to make it. You can actually make it yourself by adding a half-teaspoon of salt to about 16 ounces of water. When the Electrolysis Enhancer is used in the kangen water® machine, it makes “Strong” Kangen Water, which contains chlorine. You can’t drink strong kangen water, its poisonous. The Kangen machine also produces hydrogen gas when used with the chemical enhancer.
The use of the electrolysis enhancer in the kangen water® machine has two possible consequences.
1) It can destroy the plates, which will cost you $800 to fix.
2) It can poison your kangen® drinking water with chlorine
According to Enagic’s® website, the plates in the kangen water machine will be destroyed if the machine is “moved improperly” while the salt water electrolysis enhancer is in the machine. Enagic® does not say what this “improper movement” might be. So if you have a Kangen machine, and you use the electrolysis enhancer in your machine, don’t move it while it’s working!
